- Do each task on different days, to stop the child becoming overwhelmed.

Step by Step Learn New Words
Start by helping the child practise learning just 1 word per day, by following the steps below:
Step 1 Read it!
Get the child to read the word they are learning. Make this multi-sensory by writing the word in:

Show the child an image of the word they are learning. This could be:
- Drawing
- Photograph
- Video

Step 3 Write it!
Ask the child to write the word they are learning. They can trace the word or try to write it without looking. Make this multi-sensory by writing the word in:
